What is your approach to hypnosis?2019-07-10T15:30:49+10:00

I aim to honour and respect the uniqueness of each and every person that I work with. It is my ultimate goal to be non-judgemental and compassionate, and hold a space for you to do the work that is needed to work through whatever is present for you right now.

I see hypnosis as a positive way to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom and overcome any blocks that may currently be preventing you from living your life wholeheartedly.

What do I need to do to be hypnotised?2019-07-10T15:27:10+10:00

Come into the clinic with an open mind and curiosity. Just be yourself, be honest about your feelings, and communicate clearly. Hypnosis is about being present and focusing on the moment. Unlike most of modern human experience, it is not about overthinking.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?2019-07-10T15:23:46+10:00

You cannot get stuck in hypnosis. If for some reason, you were not brought out of trance by a practitioner, you would either arise from the trance naturally by yourself or fall asleep and wake naturally a little later.

Is hypnosis a cure-all?2019-07-10T15:21:28+10:00

No. There is no one treatment that can truthfully claim to cure everything.

If anyone ever says they can definitely cure you, be very, very sceptical.

What can hypnosis treat?2019-07-10T15:19:55+10:00

Hypnosis has been scientifically proven to treat many things including – but not limited to – phobias, depression, anxiety, headaches, addiction, low self-esteem, performance, pain, and trauma.

Is hypnosis dangerous?2019-07-17T15:40:05+10:00

The important thing to know about hypnosis is that you are in control all the time. That means you can’t be made to do anything you don’t want to do. So, you can’t be turned into someone that you are not. In that sense, you are perfectly safe.

Hypnosis can bring up some uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. That doesn’t mean that you are unsafe. You just may be uncomfortable. At all times, you will be supported and guided with kindness and compassion.

What is wholeheartedness?2019-07-10T15:43:05+10:00

Wholeheartedness is my theory about how we can all live our best lives.

I believe that most of us are missing out on living truly rewarding and fulfilling lives because we’re being half-hearted (you might even say half-assed).

By not jumping in fully, and immersing yourself in the complete experience of your life you remain disconnected from yourself and from others, you miss out on the joy of being human, and you cannot live authentically as you really want to.

The antidote is wholeheartedness. Going all in.
